Drilling Operations Training Programme

Traverse Drilling has recently designed an internal Drilling Operations training programme.  These training modules comprise comprehensive training resource materials including training handbooks and state of the art DVD and animated task and job specific safe work instructions.

This Drilling Operations Training Programme is unique to Traverse Drilling and we look forward to sharing our innovation in this area with our clients.

Where required, training programmes are tailored to ensure clear understanding by all employees with consideration of language and cultural diversity.

Nationally Accredited Training

Traverse Drilling is proud to offer Nationally Accredited Training to our employees also, no matter where they may be working around the world. Training is based on Australian Quality Training Frameworks, Industry Based Training that is delivered face to face.

As an international Company, Traverse Drilling has a strong focus on training our local employees in the countries we operate to the Australian Standard: RII09 Mining Infrastructure.  Training units are predominantly from the exploration drilling package.

Nationally Accredited Training is in accordance with the Australian Quality Training Framework and therefore when trainees reach the required level of competency, they are issued with an Australian certification from the exploration drillers package (i.e. Certificate II or Certificate III in Drilling Operations).  Our internal Drilling Operations Training Programme has been developed to compliment the RII09 Mining Infrastructure units of competency, with the intent that our internal training may be used as evidence for assessment criteria.

Our team of training professionals boasts 60+ years of combined drilling experience.  The training team work in collaboration with all Traverse Drilling operations to meet the training needs of our business with expertise in delivering quality internal training and accredited training.

Our trainers consider cultural, language and other special needs which are of great importance in fostering immersion of knowledge and skills across our international operations.
